Payment of balance is STRICTLY BY BANKER’S DRAFT OR CASH IMMEDIATELY ON DELIVERY.
All goods remain the property of Horse-a-Home until paid for in full. We reserve the right to dismantle and remove any units
not paid for in full within one hour or delivery/erection and the customer will be charged in full for all expense incurred for the
dismantling and removal of the unit. Interest will be charged at 5% above base rate on any overdue payment. If an extra
journey is required for collection of any outstanding balance there will be a further charge of £20 per man per hour plus £1.20
per total mile travelled plus VAT @ 20%. All delivery times are given as an estimate only and we will endeavour to keep to this,
However Horse-a-Home will not be liable in any manner whatsoever for any loss or damage or failure to deliver on any given
date.
Self-assembly/ deliver only - our driver will require assistance to unload - the panels are heavy and at least three, ideally four,
Physically fit people will be required to assist. Padded protective gloves need to be worn. Horse-a-Home is not responsible for
any injury incurred from the lifting and assisting of unloading the panels. If adequate assistance is not available please notify us
no less than seven days prior to delivery-there will be an extra charge for extra man-power if required. Mobile units will be
Delivered/built at the most suitable place available as judged by our delivery drive/erectors (e.g. hard standing area etc.) taking
into account access, ground conditions etc. IT IS THE CUSTOMER’S RESPONSIBILITY TO TOW INTO PLACE AND STAKE DOWN
Although we will always try and accommodate specific site request s if practical. It is the customer’s responsibility to be on-site
to instruct the erectors exactly where/how a static unit should be sited. No responsibility will be undertaken by Horse-a-Home
for incorrect siting if the customer has not been present at the beginning of the build. Re-siting will only be done at an
additional charge and will not be undertaken until the balance owing has been paid in full
Our erection service is subject to safe reasonable access and ground conditions. The unit sections are heavy and our vehicle
(3.5 ton truck plus 16’ x 9’ low loader trailer) will need to get within 1.5 met res from the place of erection of static units and there
must be adequate room for unloading. We also require 1m clearance around the site of erection. It is the customer’s
responsibility to check there is adequate access as described above. If you have any doubts please contact us no less than
seven days prior to delivery. If adequate access is not available the customer is responsible for providing extra assistance by
either man power or mechanical means to carry the panels to the site. If ground conditions are unsuitable for our delivery
vehicle a suitable vehicle (tractor) will need to be provided by the customer to tow on and off the site. If this is not available
when needed and delays the build an additional charge of £20 per hour per man will be made to cover the labour time
wasted.
If the unit has to be returned due to inadequate access or unsuitable ground conditions there will be an extra charge for
transportation back to our workshop. Any base that is put down must be deemed adequate by our erectors—if it is not
considered suitable the unit will be left dismantled on-site or returned to our workshop until an adequate base has been
prepared. For base size required please check with us if you are unsure. The customer will be liable for an additional charge
for our erectors to return at a later date and will be solely responsible for any loss, damage or deteriorate ion the dismantled unit
may incur in the meantime.
We want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase and will always endeavour to ensure this however Horse-a-Home reserve
the right to alter specifications and prices without notice. Wood is a natural product and we ensure that only good quality
materials are used, however Horse-a-Home will not be liable for any shrinkage, warping, cracking or movement after erection.
Any complaints should be made in writing within a week of erection and before use. Horse-a-Home shall not be liable in any
circumstances for any loss, injury or expense whether direct or indirect which may arise for any reason in connection with goods
supplied or work carried out . Customers are advised to ensure the unit is fully insured the moment it is placed on site. Horse-a-
Home will not be liable for any damage caused to the building by any means including storm damage. It is the customer’s
responsibility to contact with their local Planning Department regarding planning permission. Horse-a-Home shall not be liable
in any way what so ever for any legal action taken against the customer as a result of not obtaining adequate planning
permission.
In placing an order with Horse-a-Home the customer agrees to all of the above terms and conditions.
